Less than one hour left in 2019 and I found my creative mantra for 2020. Each year I look for a special quote I try to work with through the year. Next year I want to enclose LOVE in my work.

So, what do you think? What is your mantra for 2020? I printed mine out, framed it and put it on the shelf right in front of my eyes on my workspace. Whenever I look up, I see the saying and get a reminder right away. 2020 will be the year of love for me and my designs. I´m really excited how things will work out.
Have a wonderful start into the New Year. May all your dreams come true.

When a year ends and a new one is about to start, it´s a good idea to create a vision board. It helps, to visualize all our dreams, plans and goals we want to accomplish in the coming year. With a vision board we keep a positive mindset. Here you can see mine for 2020.

It is very easy to make.
1. Get a canvas or thick piece of cardboard, glue, scissors, washi-tape and other decoration material.
2. Take a piece of paper and write the things down that are important to you in your life like family,
    friends, work, hobbies, etc.
3. Start finding pictures in magazines and the internet that fit your subjects and your goals you want
to achieve in these fields. Cut these out.
4. Collect affirmations, quotes and sayings that encourage you to reach your goals.
5. Glue everything on your canvas or cardboard.
6. Give your vision board a prominent place where you often walk by.
7. Whenever you pass your vision board, look at it and visualize your dreams and goals.

Have a wonderful time, creating your own vision board.
Lots of love,

Before the old year 2019 ends, I need to post a last pattern I did. I finished it a couple of month ago for the theme color blocking.

For the New Year 2020 I promise to post more patterns and be a better blogger. I really got carried away in the last couple of month.
Lots of love,

Here is another pattern I finished a longer time ago. Again I did it for Illustration Friday and the topic was Scandinavian (I´m sure, you guessed that already). I loved to do this one because it reminded me of my childhood in the 70´s. We used to have some of these patterns back then on different designs. Of course they often had more brown, orange and yellow colours.

But I do remember geometric shapes, birds, horses or zick-zack borders on bed linen, wallpaper, dresses, etc. For this pattern I combined the shapes of my childhood with scandinavian color hues and made it look northern. I like the fresh look of it and could imagine the design as napkins at the ikea store.
Big hugs,

Weeks ago I finished this design for Illustration Friday. Originally I used less lightbulbs in the first place but wasn´t satisfied with it. I needed to see lots and lots of until I brought lots of light sources.
Here I show you the design I did at first.

And this is the one I did secondly. There is a lot more going on in there, don´t you agree? I´m not sure which one I like more. Normally I´am friend of plain, bold design but I also love light so very much.

I think, I´ll go with the first design. The backround seems darker and I like the contrast it gives to the white and yellow light bulbs. It is still the same blue as the one of the second backround. I checked it twice because the second one looks so much brighter.
Which one is your favorite? The first or the second one? Are you more into bold, calm, quiet design or do you love it when there is a lot to discover and the eye can wander.
Greetings from my design room,

Hello beautiful,
how are you? Oh wow. I just realized it has been four month I didn´t do or post any patterns. Shame on me. I don´t know what happened. I worked a lot doing skillshare classes lately and filled my sketchbook with drawings. And I had a gig with the band I started singing with. Getting prepared for this was so much fun and time consuming as well because it took a lot of time to practise though.

Now I can´t wait to start once more doing portfolio practise and before my blog starts an unplanned hibernation I kick in and show designs I finished before my long break.
I hope, you enjoy the patterns.

Oh, I loved this design challenge very much. It was called Dog Days and I had so much fun drawing bones and paw prints, kennels, dogs and flags. I don´t have a dog though but two cats, two turtles and three chicken but I loved designing this pattern for dog lovers.

I thought of a nice neckcloth for stylish dogs that love to show off while going on a nice, chilly walk through autumn woods. Of course, the other dogs that came by will get jealous and desperately feel the longing of purchasing this neckcloth as well for themselves.
Lots of love,

With this pattern I tried to form two designs out of the limit of a colour of four. The first try is a clean and sharp retro design out of circles that change size constantly as you can see here.

The second try is this dot-painting heart that´s made out of the same colors. I wanted it to look like a color vision test or eye test. What can I say: It was a lot of work to set all dots.

It took me days to get the second one done as you can imagine. But I do quite like the result. Sorry, I am out of words today. I´d love to write more but my head doesn´t want to. I´ll be better next time.
Shine on,

I am really a better person when I am able to design. It makes me feel happy, centered, grounded and I love going into my ritual of designing. I also decided not to stop creating until I fall in love with the pattern I am working on. This has such a huge impact on my work. I give love in and it comes right back to me when I look at my artwork after finishing it. I totally underestimated the power of a good feeling putting into the creative process.

Another Illustration Friday is knocking on the door at midnight with an animalistic motto. I am sure, you´re able to tell what it is. Exactly, it´s fox and I was totally happy to draw these lovely, cute, fury friends. I know they are quiet hip right now in the pattern scene and this has truly a reason. I love their look and they are easily done. #illustrationfriday #weeklydesignchallenge #fox #surfacepattern

In the last few days I was quite busy designing patterns for the Spoonflower Design Challenge.
Spoonflower is a company in the U.S. that prints custom fabric. Luckily they also have producers in Berlin, Germany. So this is good for me. No costly shipping. Each week they do have a challenge with different topics to encourage creativity. Today I´d love to proudly present you my latest designs for the last challenges. #spoonflower #designchallenge #surfacepatterndesign #artwithheart
Here they are:

a) Abstract Minimalism:

b) Fitness:

c) Paint by numbers:

d) RetroPostcard:

A couple of month ago I started to feel unhappy with my designs because there was always some detail in it I didn´t like. Mostly it was because I ran out of time while finishing a pattern because of my bread job and rushed through the making process. So I decided for myself to put more love and time into my creations. I wanted them to be done with all my heart so I opened this one entirely for my making process. It worked out instantly and the more love I put in the more love comes back from my designs and they really gained substance. Soon they can start a new being as heart openers to others.

Today I want to show you my favorite breakfast on weekends in a pattern. I´m a total lover of enjoying food in the mornings but during weekdays I´m so often not able to spend much time preparing myself some lovely food. So through Mondays to Fridays I bring myself some granola in a glass jar with oat milk and fresh fruits to work. On weekends it´s different. I´ll explain it to you later in this post. For now I´ll show you my Saturday/Sunday breakfast in one calm and 1:1-design and one in a pattern.

So my weekend-breakfast is made of wonderful things I love. I am a plant eater so there are no animal ingredients involved. I´m also allergic to wheat so spelt products are my first choice. And for healthy reasons I´m advised to avoid sugar at all. Okay, this sounds difficult and it is for people who want to invite me over for meals (it´s possible when I bring my own food). My favourite breakfast is this: First of all there are herbs I pick in my garden and turn them into a lovely tea. For drinks I also have oat milk and freshly squeezed orange-juice. Organic, seasonal foods are on my side and a lovely bowl of muesli (without any sugar). And on top of it all there is an oven-warm spelt bun waiting for me, spreaded with vegan butter and raw-stirred strawberry jam. Sometimes I even bake myself a vegan banana bread with walnuts. Mmmmmmhhhh.
What is your favorite breakfast?

For this design I´m a little bit too late because the challenge was due almost three weeks ago. But I still want to post it anyway because I think it worked out quite nice. The topic was "Transportation" and since I truly wanted to do a design with sail-boats this was the opportunity.

I saw the image on my inner eye already before I banned it on paper and the computer. There should be waves and bubbles in the backround and of course lovely boats sailing on the water. So I made this happen. To complete the pattern I added some hearts because I thought they might look nice to it.

And another Illustration Friday is rolling by. This weeks topic is Throne and I had a hard time, designing one. Gosh, I guess I gained lots of grey hair while doing so. I never realised how much work it can be to draw a kings chair. I almost gave up on this pattern.

But well, now it is done and I think, it looks allright for the first try. And I learned a lot about myself during this lesson. I definately don´t want to pick up a career as a throne designer, this one is for absolutely sure (unless I change my mind and want all my hair to turn into greys and whites).

Do you also have this voice inside your head? The one who tells you all the time what you´re able to do and what you are not. Very often the voice speaks louder about the things we think we can´t do. And it turns into a whisper about the good stuff. The stuff we learned already in life, the goals we achieved and the skills we trained diligent to make us come to our present point of life.

This voice I´m speaking about is our inner believe system. We all have it, carry it with us. Sometimes this system stops us and sometimes it helps us achieve new goals. It depends on our own personality and how we were able to grow up. If we were able to built up confidence in our live we also raise our ability to trust our own intuitions. This means we love to move forward and collect courage on our way doing the things we love to do. So, it´s good to look inside because we are so much more than we think we are.

OMG, where does the time go? I try really hard to catch up with my designs but right now we have final exams at school where I work and this keeps my quite busy. Nevertheless I dragged myself on screen at nighttime to finish this design for the Illustration Friday farm topic. I picked 😀 a chicken pattern this time for a special reason.

My husband Mike (formerly known as a passionate biker) always wanted chicken in his backyard. I did not because I was scared they´d ruin my flowers so I struggled. Two month ago Mike had a round birthday and wasn´t very happy with it. Our kids and I tried to find something to cheer him up and so I decided to give in with the chicken. We bought "Wyandotts", a small, family friendly breed and made Mike very happy with it. The three chicken are with us for weeks now, they do wreck my flowers beds but on the other hand they are so funny. I truly love their feather patterns (mockers say, the chicken fit to our interieur - of course they do).

They used to live in a stable with many chicken. We let them run free when we are at home and they really love it, exploring the bushes, pecking for worms. I never thought I would say this but it´s quite allright to life with chicken. And they do give great inspirations for patterns.

Illustration Friday, the weekly design challenge had "Fire" as this weeks topic. I came up with this design. This time I really had an overdose of perfection. Whenever I thought the picture was final, there came something up to tell me it´s not. The design truly talked to me and I listend and worked on it for days. I could still give passion into it though but gave myself permission to stop before I screw it up. It absolutely has wonderful, powerful energy and effect.

I love the quote very much and found it several years ago while being on a 3,5 years training for becoming a free flying witch myself. The history of the inquisition was part of the training in the first level of witch school and I found it quite threatening how involuntarily women were accused and sentenced to death because of their healing skills.

Every woman has healing power and very often, this skill wakes up when she gives birth to children. The inquistion raged 800 years long and stopped 1775 but it is so deeply drained in our cells and was passed on to further generations that many nowadays women are still affected by it. Are you one of them? Do you allow yourself to listen to your inner healer? Or are you very careful with showing your healing skills? Do you have forgotten about them at all? Or do you hide yourself out of fear because you could get punished for who you truly are? Let me tell you this. There is no need to be afraid of waking up your healing power. You are capable of amazing things. Every woman is. We are all healers. Together we´re able to cure the world. So lets get together ladies around the globe in purpose of sending salvation all over the planet. Take us all by our hands. It is time to let the (healing) magic happen.
Loads of love,

This week I am earlier with my weekly "Design-meets-Consciousness"-Series and my pattern is finished already. I loved to draw these little circles and it made me feel relaxed and calm while doodeling them. Surely this pattern will show up more than once, maybe in different colours.

"Your best teacher is your last mistake" - this quote found me several weeks ago and I´m a huge fan of the meaning of it. As a born perfectionist it isn´t easy for me to deal with mistakes because I always dreamed of a perfect life with no failures around at all. But how boring would this life be. I would never learn anything because things would always run smooth. I also dream of a life full of wisdom and sageness and I guess the road to this goal is full of mistakes I´d rather name experiences because that´s what they are. They help us grow.
Have a happy Tuesday, love.

Wow, I was almost late for this weeks Illustration Friday because I couldn´t make up my mind what motif I´d like to draw that flies. I wanted butterflies in the first place but didn´t like my drawings for that one. The entire week long I was looking and hoping for artsy and witty inspirations and found none.

So today I came back to my first idea and tried to draw lots of different butterflies. I didn´t really feel a connection though while designing and I only liked the look of one motif. As for the colours: I truly wanted a colour combination that brings a feeling of spring with it. We still have cold weather and I can´t wait for the warmer and brighter days to come. So this pattern is a little outlook for nicer days to come.
Have a wonderful Thursday wherever you are.

I am in my design room, making another pattern and my creative soul is happy. Last week I made doodles and liked them so much that I wanted to have these as a part of a design. And of course I had to use the Pantone Colour of 2019 "Living coral" for the first time. Uhh yeah.

Design: Evelyn Lara'Ana Rosner   MockUp:

The quote is a perfect fit for my recent experiences while giving coaching lessons. As a spiritual companion I love it when people visit me to get some answers for their troubles in life. In most cases my guests are open and willing to let go of their pain and fear. With this intention ease and freedom can be invited and integrated into life. There are also wonderful people in this world who don´t want this offer. They don´t want to open up for help because they might not be finished with the brave experience they´ve chosen to make we try to rescue them from. Everybody takes it´s own time on this road of life and maybe some "sleep" longer than others before awakening starts. One day we´ll all know who we truly are.

Are you a person who writes to-do lists? So am I. I love making plans about the things I want to accomplish in my daily routine like getting groceries, picking up my kids from town, cleaning something inside the house, etc. It´s a never ending story and if I´m true to myself, I rarely get my list done, although I try so very hard. And even if I make it, there is always new stuff coming up that keeps me busy. My to-do list never makes me happy because it is the documented sign of the mountain that stands always in front of me and there is no chance that I´m able to decrease it´s size one day.

I gave a good thinking of this one because after I realized my to-do-list never makes me happy then there must be something out there that helps me feel good about my chores in a different kind of way.
Soon after that I stumbled over an article in the magazine "Flow" from Aaf Brandt Cortius, a dutch writer. Aaf reported about Christiene Barberich, chief editor of the online-magazine Refinery and her way of working with done lists. I liked the idea immediately and started with my own done-lists.
It had an instantely effect on me because while switching from my to-do-list to the done-list I could feel the stress that caused the things that needed to be done. And I could also feel the pride of myself after I tracked down all the things I accomplished. Wow, what an impact. I didn´t know beforehand how much I had worked with.
So, dear lovely to-do-list-writter.
What would you write on your done list after this week is over? Try it and you will feel the difference. Have fun finding your pride in this subject.
Lots of love,

I was in the mood illustrating a picture of things that muse and inspire me. Of course there is always something to do better but still I´m training my skills to get better and better. And finally one day I´ll reach my goals and live a happy, artsy life. Hooray.

We´re going through an exciting time. 20 years ago when I started to work with family constellation systems (= a therapeutic system discovered by the german Bert Hellinger) there was a big difference to the nowadays noticablility. In the olden days there was mostly one topic that showed up and wanted to be healed. After the constellation process it took time for the topic to heal and finally to disappear. Sometimes it took years until the next topic came up. With patience and humility one theme after the other rised up bit by bit and wanted to be removed off ones soul like an onion skin to bring lightness back into someones life.

After our planet started to raise it´s vibration sequences, topics showed up faster and it took less time in-between family constellations until the next theme showed up.

Nowadays the vibration sequences went up even higher and the topics that want to be healed inside humans show up all at once. That means, we see and feel conflicts in so many parts of our lives. We try to get them under control but sometimes we don´t know where to start. This brings coaches of the new time on the list because they know where to start and they know, what to do. But how can you identify coaches of the new times? I´ll describe here, what coaches of the new times should be able to do. First of all they should be conscious about the fact that many things show up at once. It needs patience to wait, what in all comes up and the abilitiy to really look at it and find the difference what this is all about. Where do the variations of energy belong to? How much of it should be brought into a good solution in one setting and where does ist make sense to let time work for the client.

A coach of the new time acts with stability, clearness and is self-centred and grounded out of his/her own inner balance.
A coach of the new times knows the borders of his/her profession. We cannot take over the healing process of a client because he/she decides unconsciously him/herself, when a topic is ready to be healed and how much time this will take.
A coach of the new times uses his/her abilities wary and attentive and takes care of his/her own topics that also rise up. That means, he/she gets help when needed to bring light into the own shadows.
If you want to know more about family constellation systems feel free to write an email to me.
If you try to find a coach of the new time, I´d be happy to help.

Illustration Friday, the weekly art challenge is on once more and this week I´ll join the topic: Galaxy.
That was so much fun designing the orbit with lots of planets around.

I don´t have much to say to this post today. I join this challenge to get better with my drawings and to climb up to higher levels of my design work. It is good practise and I am a big fan of it.
Maybe you´d like to draw your own galaxy, too and submit your illustration here /
Big hugs,

With my todays post I´d like to show you how easy vegan and fruity oatmilks are made. I am not that satisfied with the setting of the picture today and I know I can do better than this. But still I´ll post it anyway because I have a challenge to not be overly pedantic to myself anymore. So here is my far-away-from-satisfying photo (oh gosh, it´s so hard to endure this unprofessional look) and underneath I´ll post the recipe.
(Did I mention I designed the vase myself. I drew patterns, printed them out on thick paper, sew two parts together and cut it in a vase form. There is a glas of water inside that holds the water and the twigs.)

It is very easy to make vegan fruit milks.
You just need fruits like blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and some vegan milk. I made two milks, one with blueberries and one with raspberries and I used rice-milk.
Pour a cup of rice-milk into a higher bowl, throw in a handful of berries and blend it until the fruits are finely chopped. Pour the milk into a nice glas, garnish it with a straw and that´s basically it.
When I want to milk to really be icecold, I´ll use frozen fruits instead of fresh ones.
Have fun trying and enjoying,

Gosh, I had a long day teaching today and whenever I leave school after working long hours my head hurts. Luckily I had a good dinner with lovely, healthy oven-baked vegetables and after enjoying that I felt much better again. Good enough to design this pattern of lanterns. I picked asian, joyful colours for this one because my soul truly wants the summer to come back. It is snowing once more here in Germany and we do have it quite cold outside.

I found the quote on pinterest and I like it very much because it is a daily reminder to always let the inner light shine so the right people will see it and find you. Before I started my training as a Conscious Coach I wasn´t happy of attracting a certain type of people. I tried hard to let my light shine but there lived some unhealed topics inside of me that made me get connected with personalities I just didn´t feel good to be around with. I couldn´t explain it back then but today I know why. I didn´t like the issues they carried because they were similar to mine and unconsciously I wanted these topics inside of me to be cured. Years later, still on the road of healing inside, my life feels easier and lighter and people I invite into my life are more the ones that are close to my inner picture. I know, there is still some work to do but I dare to let my light shine bright so I´ll find the ones who inspire me to inspire them as well. I want to invite you to also turn your light on so the right people will find you.
Lots and lots of love,

Lots of love,

Feel free to contact me here or via my homepage if you´d like to learn more about your musical life.
Lots of love,

The new year 2019 is already called the year where more people will reach "spiritual awakening" than ever. As a ConsiousCoach and a shaman-to-be I´m open for topics like that and today I´d like to share this question with you. But first of all "What is the meaning of "awakening" and why in a "spiritual way?"

"Spiritual awakening" means we remember who we truly are in our soul and we remember individually why we are here on this planet.

Let´s look at it from the start.
In it´s origin, a soul is equiped with indidual talents and skills while being "formed". Every soul is (in difference to our body) immortal which means we carry these individual talents and skills with us on all our travels through different kind of lives, forming and shaping these gifts while collecting experiences.

In our former lives we used these talents on a regular basis without wondering or asking ourselves why we´re able to do so. Later on many of us have forgotten about the skills we individually carry because of painful experiences and heavyness we collected on our journeys. Those came down on many of us like severe blankets. We spiritually fell asleep and lost the connection to our truly inner being. Through lots and lots of lives. Until now.

In this incarnation things will be different. Our planet is currently going through the so-called adjustment phase. This means, the earth raises continuously it´s vibration. We do live on this planet and so we are also affected by this because we also have to adjust. All dark experiences we collected inside of us carry low vibrations. When our planet vibrates higher, these dark experiences get tossed up inside of us because they want to leave our system. This process is quite painful for many because everything our souls have seen, experienced or suffered from comes back to us in all different kind of feelings. It affects our well-being physically, mentally and emotionally.

Very often the process of awakening comes with discovering more sensitive sensory experiences. We see, feel, hear, etc. more intense. This can be frightening especially for people who don´t know what is going on. There is no need to worry.
Once we are through the challenging process and brought cure to our experiences (this can take a while) the road is clear for the process of awakening.

This means, we start discovering ourselves with all talents and skills. We´ll be able to see our origin, inner light and we´ll be able to bring this light to a wonderful glow. More and more we start doing things we truly love to do. This is the time we´ll create heaven on earth.

Bye for now and lots of love,

Saturday, January 26, 2019

Today I made myself a list about 5 things I´d like to add to my life. I came up with this idea because I had the feeling of spending too much time with the wrong things. So I startet this reminder to keep myself on track.

1. Watch less TV: First of all I desperately want to watch less TV. It´s not that I watch it during daytime but in the evenings even there is nothing on I´m interested it. But still I sit there and look at it instead of spending my time with a good book or some doodling. For bringing my plan to action I bought myself a TV guide for the next two weeks and flipped through it which movies I´d like to see. I discovered that there is only one movie that´s of interest for me which means the TV should be on for only one evening in the next two weeks.

2. Positive thinking: Positive thinking is another major goal of mine. I truly want to do mind hygiene in the next three weeks and transform negative thoughts into positive ones. The brain needs three weeks to practise an exercise until it becomes a routine. So I hope, in three weeks the positive thinking might be a habit and I´m able to use it on a regular base. My daily mantra is: "My life is filled with love, light, ease, wealth and joy".

3. Try new stuff every day: I love the beginner spirit when things feel totally need and I try and fail until I get better. This is so good for the brain and brings new experiences.
For the start I´ll start silkscreenprinting again and secondly I´d love to learn how to pour porcelain. This might be good challenges for the start of a new year.

4. Ask for help more often: This is something I´m hardly able to do. It is so hard for me to ask others to do me a favour. I always have the feeling to give something back to them the minute they did something for me which is quite good to keep the balance. So family, friends, worksmates and neighbours watch out I´m about to come and ask for help (when I´m brave enough).

5. Be braver with my life: Sometimes I don´t show myself, hide my opinion when more people are around or do things I don´t want to do to please others. When I was younger I did this on a normal basis and was hardly able to feel myself. Then I started to listen more and more to myself and my intuition and the more I did this the less I was willing to do compromises. This year will be my even-less-willingness-to-weak-compromises-year and I´ve startet it already. I ask myself what I truly want and then I try to find a good way of reaching it. 2019 will be my year of doing everythings I love to do in my life. I´ll keep you updated on this one.

What are your 5 things you´d like to add to your life?
Lots of love,

My taste buds were screaming for a yummy treat so I forced myself happily today to bake this lovely, vegan quiche. I think, it is more than 6 years from now I baked my last quiche (back then still with eggs and cream). Luckily the internet helps finding recipes for all kinds of eating habits and I was thrilled to find one with vegan quiche.

Here on this picture I can only show you the last bit of it because there wasn´t much left after we were done with it. So, this is how it is made. You need these following ingredients:

For the dough:
330 g spelt flour (I used freshly grinded spelt flower from my mill)
80 g water
140g cold vegan margarine
1 tsp. salt

For the filling:
200g Pak Choi
150g tomatoes
1/2 onion
1 hot pepper
400g silk tofu
40g  starch
2 tblsp. olive oil
1 tblsp. sunflower seeds

Prepare the dough and mix all ingredients in a bowl and combine it with the hands or the kneating hook from your kitchen machine until it forms a nice dough ball.
Pack it in foil and let it stay in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile wash and chop the Pak Choi in fine stripes, cut the washed tomatoes and the hot pepper in small pieces and slice the peeled onion in stripes. Mix it all together in one bowl.
Mash the tofu, oil and starch in a seperate bowl until it is perfectly blended. Add lots of pepper and salt until the mix tastes spicy. Pour the tofu mix over the vegetables and stir until everything is well combined. Heat the oven to 180°C. Butter a pie-pan and dust some flour over the butter. Get the dough out of the fridge, remove the foil and roll the dough into the form until the bottom and sides are covered. Pour in the vegetables-tofu-mix and spread it out so the entire pan is filled with the mix.
Sprinkle sunflower seeds on top. I also decorated the Quiche with slices of tomatoes and sprinkles of grounded pepper. Put the pan into the oven and bake it for 30-35 minutes. Careful, it will be very hot after baking time is done. Enjoy it warm with a lovely salad or cold whenever you want - it is up to you. You can also use different vegetables for the filling and don´t have to follow my ingredients list.
Have fun while trying. I´d love to hear how things worked out for you.
Bye for now,

It is time for a new pattern today. This always makes me so very happy, sitting somewhere with a plain white piece of paper and a black marker drawing along. With the help of a good tune I start forgetting the time and things turn to merge into each other until I reach my flow (a mediative state while doodleing along. This time I doodled bows and dots and covered the entire paper with it, then I scanned it and gave the bows different colors until I liked the look.

"Whatever you are looking for is looking for you too" - this quote describes so totally the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is one of the more popular of the Universal Laws. It is the belief that positive thoughts bring positive experiences into a person´s life. And negative thoughts bring negative experiences. So it is very important to be aware of the power of our minds because our inner believe system creates our past, our present and our future. Focusing on the good things in life makes us open to invite more of them to us. It is always worth a try.

A warm and joyful welcome to 2019 to all of you. I hope, you had a great start and made your plans for the new year already. I decided to be brave this year and I truly want to open new doors in design experiences. On my list of goals is silkscreenprinting and I truly want to learn to pour china. And I desperately want to travel a lot. I started this one right away and made a trip with family and friends to Austria. We spent a week in Kärnten and some of us went skiing up in the mountains. We also had a great time ice-scating on a nearby lake. There wasn´t much snow because the snow clouds got stuck in the alps between Germany and Austria and couldn´t pass the high mountains. It heavily started snowing there for days and unfortunately that was our way back home. We packed our cars with blankets and enough food and drinks and slowly started rolling north with lots of other families. It took us 14 hours to arrive back home (normally it takes 6,5 hours) and we were right on time. After we left, things became worse and the german army had to come for help.

I missed some interesting things while I was gone so I truly need an update with this one. Pantone picked it´s color of the year 2019.  Uhh yeah. This time it is "Living Coral" and even if I don´t have coral clothes in my wardrobe I think it´s a nice color to be around with.
Pantone explains "Living Coral" as "an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge. It embraces us with warmth and nourishment to provide comfort and buoyancy in our continually shifting environment. In reaction to the onslaught of digital technology and social media increasingly embedding into daily life, we are seeking authentic and immersive experiences that enable connection and intimacy. Sociable and spirited, the engaging nature of Living Coral welcomes and encourages lighthearted activity. Symbolizing our innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits, Living Coral embodies our desire for playful expression. It is a nurturing color that appears in our naturla surroundings and at the same time, displays a lively presence within social media.

Living Coral emits the desired, familiar, and energizing aspects of color found in nature. In its glorious, yet unfortunately more elusive, display beneath the sea, this vivifying and effervescent color mesmerizes the eye and mind. Lying at the center of our naturally vivid and chromatic ecosystem, Living Coral is evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of color".

So, Living Coral is on the start and now we only have to wait until the first shops sell clothes and accessories in that color. I love, when this happens and still I am also kind of suprised when this influence starts to happen.

Have a happy, living coral day,
