It´s me again. Today I´d like to show you some impressions of my garden.
We built our house in 2011 and our garden just started to be made in summer 2014. We are still far away from being set but the first corners look quite nice. Our pool is nearly done and so is our chill-out zone with a neat fire-place. Normally there are soft cushions on the sofa and candles on the table but we had storm and rain the last couple of days.

Last year we put up some raised beds because of the always hungry snails around here. This year we raise tomatoes, salad, zucchini, carrots, peanuts, eggplants and savoy. We also spread out lots and lots of white flower seeds but they haven´t showed up yet.

Last week we started a dream of mine. I proudly present: The hill of herbs.

We have this steep mound on the side of the house and there was weed growing all over the place, especially dandylion. In the early morning hours we climbed up and got rid of the weed. My husband made trails into the hill and we planted all these gorgeous, good-smelling herbs like orange-vervain, paisley, sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano, chives, dill, woodruff. By now we have 34 different herbs and we still have one row left. The laurel in the front left side of the picture is the biggest one and I planted him four years ago. He had the size of the small herbs in the backround and I am so happy how things turned out. I hope, the little ones will grow eager, too.
