Last night my father-in-laws soul left this world. We ran out of words, miss him so much and sadness comes and goes in waves. My family is so very thankful we had him in our lifes.
Christmas is near and so many of you out there lost loved ones, too.
We will light a candle of peace for all of us. We hope, light will enter all your and our bodies through our wounds to heal the pain and grief in our hearts.
Be blessed with love,

Hello, my dear friends,
it´s been a while since I wrote something here but I have a good excuse. Five weeks long I did module 3 (Monetizing your designs) of Rachael Taylors "Make-it-in-design-Course". It was packed with fantastic exercises, informations and life briefs. I learned a heap, it helped me grow as a designer and I know now which steps I can take next in getting professional.

If you want to read more about "The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design, then please feel free to click on this link here. It will lead you right to where surface pattern design is about to start and I can highly recommend signing in.

Bye for now,

Three weeks ago I started a new job with less hours on duty as a teacher. This gives me more room and time for design and music. I am so lucky and happy. Today I came home from work and popped into my creative room before dinner. How wonderful is that. Two hours spare time before my kids return from school. I love spending time with them and I also love being creative. It fuels my batteries so much. I am a better person after some quality time alone with me.

Just now I finished the Pinwheel Pattern you can find right here. I like the colour combination with juniper and olive green plus tortilla brown mixed with coin and dove blue in the backround. And I am big fan combining clear and crisp geometric patterns with whimsical drawings I did myself.
Have a wonderful thursday,

What a wonderful morning. I love to get up early spending quality time. Windows wide open so that a lovely breeze of fresh air comes in. Our two cats just walked in from their night out. Now they are sitting left and right from me, watching what I am doing while they are licking raindrops off their fur.
A couple of weeks ago a wonderful pattern of PipStudio caught my attention. It´s called "Living Tiles".
The print on the fabric looks like a tiled wall of a flowery pattern mixed with several yellow und blue coloured tiles. I love the idea very much bringing tiles and fabric together so I tried my own pattern with this idea as the base.

I call mine "Peppy Tiles" and since I´m a big fan of a certain colour combination these days I picked meltwater blue, whisper white, cathedral grey, ash grey and saffron yellow. The dots on the string are also one of my favourites. And I am very much into stars these days. Stars rock!

Hello, you wonderful ones!
I am back in my creative space. Most of the clutter is gone and I can feel a good flow of energy around me again. What a wonderful feeling.
I love to let go when things get cramped around me. It has such an impact on my soul and I feel free for new ideas again. This time my inspiration returned right after the big furniture was gone.
So here I am with paper and markers, back to new happiness while designing.

I call this heart-piece "FLOWER BUNCH" and the colours are mustardy yellow, concrete grey, light & deep mud grey and intuition turquoise.
I hope the motif brings you into the mood of picking flowers somewhere near you, arranging them on a nice tray of different vases, bringing the last wonderful days of summer into your home with them.
Have a wonderful day today wherever you are on this planet.

My creative room is such a mess. You won´t believe it. Two weeks ago we cleaned out our garage, had it painted and put in a new floor. There was quiet some clutter we found there which wasn´t supposed to wander back on it´s old place after renovation. I piled it all in my creative space and put it into ebay for selling. Luckily the auctions will run out tonight because I found out all the clutter stopped my creative juices. I don´t find motivation or energy to start a new design which is very disturbing. It really got stuck.

By the end of next week everything shall be packed and send off. Hopefully the mood for creating will come back then. Well, since I can´t do much here right now, I´ll grab a book and wander into my garden, having some relaxed time in the hammock.
Bye for now,

The last couple of weeks I redesigned my webpage as a ConsciousCoach. One of my stepstones there are trainigs for teams of kindergartens in unfolding children´s potential. I truly wanted to create a picture of children with the inner talents to be seen as a shining light.

So I think, things worked out fine and the motif turned out the way I wanted it to be.
Besides that I´m on vacation and on rearranging my creative space so there might be a little break with my creative postings these days.
Bye for now & lots of love,

Right now I am in the middle of a huge clean out in my creative room. It always helps me being organized keeping the clutter low. I don´t like it when things get to cramped and my eyes have to wander through the room all the time. So I decided to say good-bye to many things I don´t use anymore. I threw out a lot and put the stuff on ebay to have it sold - even furniture. Most of it is done already and I have loads of room I won´t fill anymore. This feels good. Everything I need is inside of me is my new mantra.

I´m almost done with the biggest stuff so I gave myself a tiny break doing some drawing. I wanted to use summer colours and thought of ice-cream. Out popped a pattern of lollipops who fit the colours quiet well.

Have a lovely saturday evening.

Good day to all of you out there, you lovely ones!
A couple of days ago I read an interesting article in a magazine. It was about siblings and how big the influence is between them while growing up together. It even has an impact on the later choice of partners. Unfortunately we often don´t worship our brothers and sisters the way they should be cherished for everything they do for us deep down in our souls. For this I made a pattern of brothers and sisters today. I dedicate this one to all the brothers and sisters out there & especially to my brother who is only 11 month older than me. I´ll write him a thank-you-note today.

Have a wonderful and inspiring day.
Lots of love,

Yesterday evening I did some black and white drawings. Just plain lines (a lot) in a row, some flowers and stems in whimsical design. I didn´t know what to do with it and thought of saving it for later. One hour later a picture with dishes in blue found my attraction. Things mused together und suddenly I had my idea. A picture with blue blossoms, plain and simple in a nordic style.

I love the round circles with the tiny dots around so much. I think I need to do another picture just with them. That will be my next project, I guess.
Bye for now and have a blue blossomy day,

I truly love drawing chakras. It´s so meditating and makes me feel calm, relaxed and centered. Sometimes in a while I feel like designing a pattern with chakra-looking wheels. This time I was drawn to a lovely colour combinations with lime yellow, fresh grass green, esmerald green, plum purple, orange juice yellow and indian yellow.

Have a wonderful sunday again.

Beside my being as a designer I am also a conscious coach & therapist. Mainly I work with humans who want to find their true inner potential to build a well-balanced personality.
One of my passion is the support for parents and their kids. Being conscious in education is one of the basic steps while raising kids. Often parents carry pain in their own hearts of their childhood and/or older entanglements. This can be a barriere to the way of an open heart for their own kids. The kids often feel this boundness of their parents and build up symptoms to show the parents that something is in a wrong order in the family system.

For this coaching offer I designed a picture for my flyer. I wanted to show a family with lots of love among them on a photograph hanging on a wall as a lovely reminder.

In about three weeks my flyers will be printed. Ready for their journey to go to day-care-centers, kindergartens and schools hopefully reaching loads and lots of parents.

If my offer touches you as a parent please feel free to contact me. There is the possibility to get a coaching via skype. I´d love to hear from you.

Mostly on weekends I love baking my own bread. Nothing beats the wonderful smell that comes with it. Since I´m vegan plus wheat-intolerant I use spelt as one of the baking basics.
In Italy spelt is called farro and I think it sounds rocky somehow.

This time I tried my own focaccia and used lovely tomatoes and italian herbs with the plain dough.

Here´s my recipe for this fruity, juicy bread.
350g spelt flour (I grinded my own flour in my grain mill)
1 p. dry yeast
1 teaspoon of salt
250 ml warm water
2 handfull little tomatoes
1 tablespoon italian herbs
1 tablespoon sesame seeds

I combined the flour with the yeast and the water and beat it all with the hand mixer. Last but not least I beat the salt in and let the dough stand in the bowl for one hour.
After that I preheat my oven on 180°C and put a baking paper on a baking sheet. I wet my hands slightly and took the dough out of the bowl forming a ball. Then I put the dough on the sheed and made it´s surface look like a flatted bread.
At the end I cut each tomatoe in half and stuck every single one onto the top of the bread. The herbs and sesame seeds got a nice place on top of the tomatoes. I backed the bread for 30 minutes in the oven. After a nice cool-down I served slices of it with a dip of salted olive oil to my family. Yummy.
It´s so simple and still so tasty.
Have a wonderful day,

A warm "Hello" to all of you out there.
I just had a wonderful hour designing & listening to Lionel Richie and Friends in Concert. Right now my most favourite tunes while drawing.
These days I´m kind of drawn to birds. My backyard is full of them. Chirping titbirds, magpies, woodpeckers during daytime, an amazing owlet at night. And blackbirds everywhere around. They often start franctically running crossing the tiny street in our little town when I slowly drive by with my car. I mean, they rather run on their little legs instead of flying. Maybe they forget they have wings when this giant-size-looking-car drives towards them.

So I dedicate my artwork today to all the cute blackbirds out there. Take good care of yourself while running away from cars. I´m always worried you won´t make it fast enough.

Finally the rain stopped. The sun is out and my spirits are lifting up again. We tried to build raised beds in our garden the last couple of weeks. The weather put us constantly on hold and it took us ages to get it set up.

Now we have two wonderful and snalefree spots for our vegetables to grow. The salad came up quite nice, the pepper is still hesistant and so is the watermelon and the zucchini. I guess, they want to make sure if the sun shows up more often these days before they start growing.

Have a wonderful day,

Hello everybody,
it´s another rainy Sunday and I´m bound inside the house waiting for the sun to come out and play. Well, I guess this doesn´t happen anymore today. There are still so many rain clouds in the sky.
Luckily the weather made me visit my little artsy place in the basement of my house and I did some drawings without any ideas in mind. I just knew I wanted to combine smoked grey, baby boy blue and lemony yellow in some kind of nice pattern. Things turned out great and an our later I had finished my love letter pattern.

Just now I realized that the motif could be used as stationery if I scale the colour down to more transparency. And since I work a lot on forgiving others with my entire heart, the motif fits perfectly to my mood these days. What a lovely support.
Have a wonderful day.
And don´t forget - your are loved immeasurably.

A warm hello to all of you out there!
A couple of weeks ago I found a wonderful colour combination in coral and mint.
I wrote the idea in my little book of favourite colours patiently waiting for a motif to come up. Then I scribbled and doodled and finally my new motif was born this very early morning.
Frames are one of the things I love drawing and I combined them with the things I love most right now - frames, flowers, birds & portraits.

It always makes me so happy, thankful and fullfilled feeling the flow inside of me while designing and seeing the finished pattern at the end of the process.
What makes you happy? And what makes you proud when you finished it?
Feel free writing me!
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Lots of love,

Today was a good day for doing a flower pattern.
The weather was so lovely and we went outside to pick some flowers.
Close to our house is a wonderful field of wild nature and I have this lovely tray full of tiny white vases from the flea market. Flowers and vases needed to be introduced to each other desperately.
And what shall I say - they really get along quite well together.

After our return I did some sketches I had in mind and created some stems, leaves and flower heads.
Recently I love the colour combination of curry yellow and pale blue so I gave it a go.

Here´s the result! My Curry-Vanilla-Flower-Field-Pattern.
It makes me really happy and I also love the chinese proverb I found for the design.
Isn´t it wonderful thinking about the potential of all the seeds of the world - the flower seeds
and the ones that grow inside of us. All our talent and potential that wait to be awakened.

Have a wonder- and flowerful weekend.
Bye for now and lots of love,

I made my dream come true. A flamingo pattern design came to life.
I guess, I wanted to do that for 8 years now and never knew how I wanted it to be. So here it is - plain and simple.

I´m sure, these birds have a good time celebrating.
